Begun in Prague in 2004 in the midst of growing international angst, the works in this series reflect a darker view of humanity that Linn found in some of the art and other cultural expressions of central Europe. "Americans tend to focus on acheivement in hope of learning the secrets of success, but many of the central Europeans I met were more likely to reflect on upon human folly, failures, and disasters for important lessons on what not to repeat," Linn says.
